6.0L Oil Rail Stand pipes are often over looked when trying to track down a high pressure oil leak, this is an updated Stand Pipe from ford to help prevent future high pressure oil leaks.
Oil Rail Stand Pipes are prone to failure on the 04-07 Ford Powerstroke 6.0L. Generally when these fail you can experience a long or extended cranking period and/or ICP surge under throttle. We also recommended replacing the Oil Rail Dummy Plugs and STC Fitting as well when servicing the Stand Pipes as the above parts are revised design from ford and the old design can also cause the same and/or similar symptoms.
