The BD-Power 1031370 TapShifter for your 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke is an excellent upgrade to help the functionality of your truck. While your Ford Super Duty has a 5-speed transmission, it doesn’t offer you a complete range of gear selections.

NOTE:  When in TapShifter mode, the BD module will override the transmission controller shift strategy so any aftermarket trans tuning will not be active with the Tap Shifter enabled.

Access all 5 gears and control Overdrive with a tap of your finger just like the new 6.7L powered trucks do. Utilizing factory connectors the TapShifter gives the ability to select the gear you want. Controls your converter lock-up clutch for pulling heavy loads up and down hills or dyno testing, and, controls overdrive for in town driving or towing. Works great with engine retarders like BD’s own VVB. Kit includes a new OE style 6.7L shift lever and mini / dimmable gear selection display. TapShifter is also available for early Chevy Duramax diesels.

Works great with stock applications! Compatible with H&S, Spartan and SCT Tuners – Edge and other tuner compatibility in development.
