D-Tech Reman Powerstroke 7.3L Injector (Code AE)

Description

#8 Cylinder long lead injector.

The DTech 7.3L Powerstroke injectors are remanufactured to DTech’s stringent specifications and backed by their standard 1-year warranty. Injectors include o-rings and copper washer for installation. See chart to select the proper application for your truck.

 *Long Lead injector  in the number 8 cylinder, used in conjunction with AP63803AD injectors to cure the Ford cackle problem. Must look for LL on top of the injector in cylinder number 8.

1. The DT73AE injector is referred to as a long lead injector and is only used in the number eight cylinder on the applications as noted below.
2. In the 1999 model year there were two different variations of the 7.3L engine used.  Each variation requires different injectors.
3. 1999 model year engines with serial number 896811 or below use the DT73AB injector.  The DT73AE injector is not to be used with the DT73AB or incorrect engine operation and DTC will result.
4. 1999 model year engines with a serial number of 896812 or above use the DT73AD injector.  It is optional to use the DT73AE injector in cylinder number eight to reduce an engine cackle noise.
5. When the DT73AE is used on engines with a serial number below 1311240 the PCM must be reprogrammed to the latest calibration to prevent a false contribution test DTC.  Customers can refer to Ford TSB 03-21-39 for more information.

All DTech products are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months or 100,000 miles from date of original product installation, whichever occurs first. We will replace any part that fails during the warranty period and is determined to be defective in material or workmanship. If defective product is replaced it will be warranted for either the remainder of the original warranty period or 120 days, whichever is longer. We will also pay standard labor rates and times for product removal and reinstallation
